The CIDA company in Lausanne (Switzerland), which manufactured domestic appliances, is said to have commissioned the Jaccard brothers in Sainte-Croix in the Jura to build this appliance. It is a simple appliance, made entirely of Bakelite, but reliable and sturdy. It is quite rare.
