This camera sold by Photo-Ortmans (Belgium) was probably not built by the seller but produced in France. The shutter built by J.B. Carpentier in Lyon is older than the camera and can be operated by a small release lever or pneumatically using a bulb and its flexible hose. The mechanism has 5 speeds and the shutter has an intermediate phase when it is fully open, allowing the framing and focus to be checked.
