Paul Lachaize was a French engineer and manufacturer who developed accessories for various makes of camera, including Rolleiflex cameras with their film magazine-loader to increase the number of shots to 150. The camera shown here was invented by the same manufacturer. It's quite an original camera in terms of its shape and its many built-in accessories, especially for its time. Only 5,000 of them were manufactured in the SIMAP factory in Lyon.
