GEVAERT

Lieven Gevaert founded in 1894 the company Gevaert Photo -Products in Antwerp - Belgium. The firm specializes in the manufacture of photographic materials (films, plates and paper). The production of cameras Gevaert is pretty accessory and components are manufactured in subcontracting. Gevaert merged with the firm Agfa – Leverkusen - Germany in 1964 to form the World photographic firm Agfa-Gevaert (see the mark "Agfa").
