Adox

 

Adox is the name of producing photographic equipment since 1930 of the German firm Schleussner founded in 1860 in Frankfurt in Germany and which manufactured photographic products: chemicals, plates and films. Dr. Schleussner was renowned for his research and production of wet collodion plates and for its collaboration with the physicist Röntgen, who discovered X-rays,  in the manufacture of X-ray plates. In 1947, the firm became known as Adox company name. In 1962, Dr. C. Schleussner Adox Fotowerke GmbH was acquired by Du Pont de Nemours. The firm produces about 46 models until 1965. These include: Adox, Adrette, Golf, Polo, Polomat, Polomatic, Sport, Tempo...
