The CIDA company in Lausanne (Switzerland), which manufactured domestic appliances, is said to have commissioned the Jaccard brothers in Sainte-Croix in the Jura to build this appliance. It is a simple appliance, made entirely of Bakelite, but reliable and sturdy. It is quite rare. The company CIDA S.A. in Lausanne was active. There were two models produced in the same year, 1948. The other model differs only in that the two upper buttons are whiter and smoother.
