Grips

Some heavy equipment and / or bulky require the use of a grip (often optional) for a better grip, stabilizing and balancing the camera for shooting. Often, the grip had a cable release starting from a trigger in the manner of a turret and connected to the trigger or outlet of the apparatus. The hand carried the camera by the grip while being able to operate the trigger without letting go.
